Topography is shown by contours at 25m intervals with light relief shading and colouring for woodlands. An overprint highlights local hiking trails, including the Sentiero Italia and its variant, Dorsale dei Nebrodi, which traverse the whole park east – west. Symbols indicate locations of various facilities and places of interest, including the park’s visitors’ centre and museum, mountain refuges, natural curiosities and bird watching sites, etc. The map has a 1-km UTM grid.
