The map covers the area around the peak of Volcán Llaima, extending east to Lakes Gualletué, Icalma and Moquehue, plus south to the Caldera Sollipulli. Contours are at 50m intervals. Road network includes 4WD tracks and local paths. Symbols highlight various types of local accommodation, including campsites. The map has a UTM grid, plus margin ticks for latitude and longitude at 5’.
On the reverse is a street plan of central Temuco annotated with various facilities and places of interest. The map also includes colour drawings of local animals, plus numerous advertisements for local tourist facilities with text in English and/or German.
